Could I use a dual rectifier here in Europe without changing the transformer?
Will it work on 220v or is there anything I can do which doesn't cost me a small fortune? Thanks ! |

Hi,
I do not know if a dual rectifier has a 110v-240v swich. I own a Mark 4. It is 110v. So there is an additional transformer that takes the 220V line to 110V (that's ac voltage to ac voltage NOT dc voltage) The amp works great! This can be done by your locale amp tech. I supose you live in europe. I live in Belgium. and there is a great amp repaire shop in tongeren called "Yves Pexters tube amp service" If you live near Belgium, I really recomend him. Yes, I would like some suggestions on this too please. I have just purchased a M-pulse 600 on ebay. I live in Perth, Western Australia. I am using a converter at the moment, but would prefer to have it changed properly. Do they have a switch? Or do you need to change the transformer?

Also you might want to try Ebay, you can find step up and step down converters on there for a fair price.

transformer but can I get it permanently modded inside to have it run straight of Australian power?
