I am looking for something that is voiced for medium gain, and have been looking at the Heartbreaker and the Maverick 2x12. I played the heartbreaker and I like it, but I don't want to get it without giving the Mav a look.
I was wondering if anyone on the forum has tried the lone star 1x12 compact combo. I was extremely impressed with a 2x12 combo I played in my local boogie dealer. My only objection is the size, which I know sounds petty, but in my situation it is relevant. I'm assuming it sounds less resonant than the standard 1x12? Does it have all the same features? Is it impossible to chance tubes due the space constrictions?

Thanks

WillShred
