My DC-3 is having volume problems. All 3 channels work at low volumes with the output level knob at 2 1/2 or under. Once the output level knob gets up over 3
the volume drops to about half . The volume sometimes jumps for a split second but then drops back down. I had the amp bench tested at local store and was told
all tubes were fine and they could not diagnose problem. Has anybody heard of this problem or have any suggestions?

After watching George Benson and Santana, I decided to try holding the pick the way they do. I like it. It feels strange at first, but the control is way better to me than standard. Your aim is way better, and there is less string resistance. The hardest thing is keeping your thumb locked so the pick wont spin. The only limit to this technique is pinch harmonics are harder to hit. Everything else is easier. Has anyone else tried this?

I really like the clean and lead channels on my Mark IV. I'm looking for a more modern distortion sound and i'd like to upgrade to a recto, i haven't decided yet if i wanna go with a dual or triple. My question concerns the FX loop on the rectos. I like having the FX loop available on channels 1 and 3 and inactive on channel 2. I think this is probably the coolest feature of the mark IV. I know the newer 3 channel rectos have a footswitchable fx loop but can they be set always on for channels...
