Hi guys... LONG time Boogie user here. I got my 1st Boogie, a MKIIB combo and matching 1x12 cab-- back in '81 I think. Currently I own and gig regularly--
a MKIII Coliseum Simul-Class Head (One of approximately 200 made). I'm the original owner and bought the amp new in 1986 from Lab Sound in LA, CA. This amp
has been my main work horse amp for the last 20+ years. I LOVE it!!!! I also own a MKIII Simul-Class combo (Blue stripe), and a few 1x12 Boogie cabs,

My DC-3 is having volume problems. All 3 channels work at low volumes with the output level knob at 2 1/2 or under. Once the output level knob gets up over 3
the volume drops to about half . The volume sometimes jumps for a split second but then drops back down. I had the amp bench tested at local store and was told
all tubes were fine and they could not diagnose problem. Has anybody heard of this problem or have any suggestions?

What are your experiences with these models?

I just recently recieved a Dual Rec Roadster, and had some questions about the volume control on it. I've always heard that with tube amplifiers, they
sound their best when the volume is 3/4 - maximum strength. With this head, each channel has its own master volume, as well as a single "master"
output control (active when using the effects loop). So, as I can't have both the master volume for each channel and the main output volume maxed out,

The Boogie site says that I can run EL34's where the two outside tubes are located, with the 6L6's still in the middle. how do i set the bias select

the head. I assume this is the problem because when I plug in the footswitch, all three channel lights are on and as soon as I press a switch for any one of

The only way I can resolve the issue is to lift the AC ground on one of the devices. It would appear that one grounds the signal to it's chassis/AC ground,
